Our Vision
Wild Built Landscape Construction exists to create outdoor spaces that feel like they belong to the land they were built on.
We believe the best landscapes aren't forced onto nature—they grow from it. Every property has its own character, and our goal is to reveal that character through thoughtful craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless construction.
We're not interested in building projects that look impressive for a season. We want to build landscapes that become more beautiful with time and feel like they've always been there.
Where We're Going
Our ambition isn't to become the biggest landscape construction company.
It's to become one of the most respected.
We want Wild Built to be known for thoughtful landscapes, exceptional craftsmanship and work that improves with age.
This doesn’t mean we will shy away from modern landscape installations.
Whatever we build, the standard remains the same.

We don't believe good landscape construction needs to dominate nature, nor does working with nature mean refusing to build.
Our work brings structure to wild spaces and character to built ones.

One of the first lessons many people learn outdoors is simple:

We've carried that principle off the trail and into our work.
It means leaving a property more beautiful than we found it.
Leaving what we build stronger because we were responsible for building it.
Leaving our clients more confident because they understand the work we've done.
Leaving our craft stronger by learning old skills instead of allowing them to disappear.
Leaving future craftspeople with more knowledge than we had when we began.
Leaving our community stronger by supporting the people and businesses around us.

Carpentry is my passion these days, but over more than twenty years in construction, I've had the opportunity to work across nearly every trade in some capacity. Landscape construction has held my interest and focus in a way no other trade has.
I've always been drawn to the details. The grain in a particular piece of cedar. The way a stone wants to sit. The small adjustment nobody may consciously notice, but that makes the finished work feel right. I'm equally fascinated by the skills behind old stone walls and timber joinery as I am by new materials and better ways of building.
The last 8 years of my career have been spent working in landscape construction, where I had the opportunity to learn from talented people, take on increasingly complex work, and discover the kind of builder I wanted to become. Wild Built grew out of that experience and a desire to create a company where craftsmanship, curiosity and thoughtful work could remain at the centre of what we do.
Outside of work, I'm happiest outdoors—usually somewhere on a trail, in the mountains, or making something with my hands. A lot of the philosophy behind Wild Built comes from those places: pay attention to your surroundings, work with what's already there, keep learning, and leave things better than you found them.
I'm not interested in building the same thing over and over again. I want to meet interesting properties, interesting problems and people willing to try something a little different.
Wild Built is new.
